Corresponding prices The quoted prices for this specification are valid for 30 days and based on current material and other costs at the time of quoting
Quotes Are subject to confirmation or written order from the buyer. All quotes are subject to VAT.
Manufacturing quantity tolerance The quoted prices are based on the tolerance stated. Deviation from this subsequent to prices being submitted will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Product style Alterations to product style(s) subsequent to prices being submitted will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Product size Alterations to Product size(s) subsequent to prices being submitted will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Material(s) (generic) including board, window patch etc Costings have been prepared on the specified materials. Deviation from that which is stated subsequent to prices being submitted will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Material lead time Material lead times can have a significant impact on total cost. These prices have been prepared on lead times as stated. A delivery requirement which necessitates raw materials to be available before that stated will require costings to be revisited and
Print details If relevant, the number of colours quoted and the type of varnish form a critical part of the cost. Deviation from the quoted print specification will require costing to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Sides printed If relevant, variation to that specified will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Estimated method of production Variation to that specified will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Cut & crease specification (standard, embossed same pass, embossed separate pass) If relevant, variation to that specified will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Additional finishes (lamination, blocking, graining,etc) The cost of additional finishes can be greatly affected by changes to specification. Variation to that specified will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Finishing specification Alterations to product style(s) subsequent to prices being submitted will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Packing specification Variation to that specified will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Pallets Goods shipped from overseas will be delivered unpalletised unless otherwise agreed and stated on quotations or order acknowledgements
Pre-production costs  
a. Sampling Additional samples may be charged
b. Die Alterations to product style(s) subsequent to prices being submitted will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
c. Plates If relevant, variations to print specification (number of designs, number of colours, method of production) will affect costings.
e. Others Changes to the specification will affect pre-production costs and will require costings to be revisited and prices re-submitted as appropriate
Cancellation of orders The customer will be invoiced for any costs incurred up to and including the point of cancellation including any raw materials purchased (board, inks, window film, cases, pallets) design and origination costs (samples, repro, plates, c/c dies) and manufa
Deferral of orders The customer will be invoiced for all costs associated with the deferral of an order. This may include invoicing of all work undertaken to date (samples, repro, plates, c/c dies) and any raw materials purchased and delivered. Storage charges will be appl
Force Majeure The seller shall not be liable to the Buyer if deemed to be in breach of the contract/order by reason of delay if the delay or failure is due to any cause beyond the sellers control including: etc
Claims Complaint or claims based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods must be made within 7 days of receipt of the goods.
Retention of Title ‘Retention of Title’ to the goods supplied will remain with the seller and does not pass to the buyer until full payment has been received from the buyer.
Governing Law The construction, validity and performance of the contract shall be governed by the Laws of England
  Terms of payment
Option A) FOB FOB (Free On Board) - An International Term of Sale that means the seller fulfils his or her obligation to deliver when the goods have passed over the ship's rail at the named port of shipment. This means that the buyer has to bear all costs and risks to
  The Customers order shall be binding and they shall honour the order in full in accordance with the payment terms and prices agreed in the sales contract
  The Seller will retain intellectual property rights for any packaging designs including shape, style, and make up submitted by the Seller and subsequently purchased by the Customer
  Payment terms shall be 30% deposit on order with LC or as otherwise agreed in writing to cover the 70% balance payable on Bill of Lading.
  The seller does not commence manufacture until a 30% deposit has been paid by ‘the customer’
  The Seller sell on an FOB basis in USD, Euros or Sterling as agreed in the Sales Contract

Option B) Delivered The Seller are happy to work with any customer nominated/preferred freight forwarders, carriers and shippers but we cannot underwrite the product in these instances

  If not an FOB Transaction the terms of payment will be agreed within the sales contract and payment terms will be 30% deposit with order and delivery upon 70% cleared funds as balance of payment unless otherwise agreed in writing by Alexir International Ltd.
